We like your style! How do we book?
Wonderful! To secure your booking, simply fill out a booking form and input your details, including your wedding date and Devon venue. I’ll be in touch shortly!
Do you take a deposit?
Yes, I take a £250 non-refundable deposit to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 8 weeks before your wedding day.
Can we meet you before our big day?
Absolutely! I’m based in North Devon, so I can meet anywhere within a 20-mile radius. Or, we can arrange a video call at the time of booking; this is something I do with most of my clients. I’m here to answer any questions you may have and settle any nerves. I want to get to know you both as much as possible, what you like and your preferences – so I can create a wedding album I know you’ll love.
How far do you travel to photograph a wedding?
While I’m primarily a Devon wedding photographer, I also capture weddings in Cornwall, Somerset, the entire southwest, and even the occasional destination wedding. Travel outside North Devon incurs a small fee, which we’ll discuss during booking.
When will we receive our wedding photos?
I meticulously retouch and edit each photo, aiming to deliver your Devon wedding photos within 12 weeks after your special day.
How many wedding photos will we receive?
Depending on your selected package, you’ll receive anywhere between 500 to 1,500 digital images, sometimes more. Full-day packages naturally include more photos than the half-day option. Unlike other Devon wedding photographers, I won’t charge extra for additional digital images; you’ll receive everything captured. No hidden cost!
Can I order more prints of my wedding photos?
Definitely, you have the flexibility to order additional prints of your cherished wedding photos. While a specific number of prints are included in the package you choose, if you wish to acquire more, I provide a range of print packages for you to select from. You can make these additional print orders either when booking your wedding photography package or after you’ve received your beautiful wedding images.
Will I receive a printed wedding album?
Yes! Each wedding photography package includes a beautifully made and engraved wedding photo box, a hardcover wedding album, a USB containing all digital images, a set number of prints, and a link to your private online gallery.
Are you an insured wedding photographer?
Yes, I am a fully insured wedding photographer. I understand the importance of safeguarding your special day, and I carry comprehensive liability insurance to ensure peace of mind for both myself and my clients. If you have any specific questions about insurance coverage or would like additional details, feel free to reach out, and I’ll be happy to provide more information.
Will you be photographing our wedding?
Oh yes, it will be me! I own Ocealuxe Wedding Photography, so you’ll always have me, lucky you! If you’d like a second photographer, just let me know, and I can arrange this for an additional cost.
What if your equipment breaks?
Don’t worry, I come prepared for any unexpected situations. I carry a spare camera body with me, along with an array of lenses, batteries, and spare memory cards. I also write all images to two memory cards simultaneously. So, if something malfunctions, no biggie – I won’t miss a moment!
Can we submit a list of essential shots we’d like captured?
Absolutely! I encourage you to share a list of any must-have shots – whether it’s golden hour group photos or table details before dinner. The more I know, the better I can tailor your photography to what matters most.
I’m getting married but I don’t like having my photos taken. Does this matter?
Not at all! Creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere is my speciality. Whether you prefer candid moments or posed shots, I tailor my approach to suit your comfort level. Getting to know you before the big day ensures a personalised and enjoyable photography experience. Whether camera-shy or spotlight-loving, you’re in good hands with me.
Do you photograph engagements?
I do! I love engagement shoots. They’re fun and relaxed, allowing you to get comfortable in front of the camera. It’s also a great opportunity for us to get to know each other before your big day.
